Synthetic landscapes

Reviewing the 'ideal' landscape:
A Meadow Arts contemporary art exhibition
04 June - 03 September 2017
Weston Park
I will be creating an installation at Weston Park as part of Synthetic Landscapes.  In Summer 2017 Meadow Arts partners with Weston Park and Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, to deliver a large-scale exhibition exploring two radically different visions of man-made landscapes. At Weston Park the exhibition will explore the sculpted parkland of Capability Brown, created as 'pleasure ground' for the enjoyment of a land-rich minority.
At the opposing end of this view, in Shrewsbury the exhibition will explore the appropriation of landscape during the birth of the Industrial Revolution and afterwards.
